Adult ADD

Most adults who seek evaluation for possible ADD/ADHD have experienced significant problems in one or (usually) more aspects of their personal lives. Some common aspects of life affected by their condition include:

  • Inability to keep and maintain a steady job. Inconsistant or poor job performance. A history of underachievment in their job/career.
  • Inability to keep or maintain healthy relationships, often due to emotional volitility.
  • Inability to manage day-to-day responsibilities, such as paying bills, finishing household chores, etc.
  • Chronic stress and worry due to a failure to achieve goals or meet responsibilities.
  • Chronic feelings of guilt or frustration.
